What is AI?
Artificial intelligence (AI) is a machine with the ability to perform functions normally associated with humans, for example creating images and writing copy can now be done through AI. Although AI can be preferable due to its speed and efficiency, it has been argued that because it is artificial, the work created can lack the creativity that comes from the human mind (Mckinsey, 2023).
What is an NFT?
A non-fungible token (NFT) can be any type of digital file, that is protected and completely unique. People often 3buy NFTs of digital art or even AI services (Clark M., 2022).
Why do people buy them?
People buy NFTs often as investments to sell on or trade in the future, and because they are completely unique, they can go up and down in value quite significantly, similar to how physical art would.
Individual Activity:
For this activity we were told to go to wombo.art and experiment with the AI. For this task, I tried to generate the most random and bizarre things I could think of.
Group Activity:
The next activity was to look at two extremes; purity and pollution.
