Development Blog 12 – Social Media Campaigns

Over the last few years, we have a seen a significant increase in not only social media users, but social media advertising and marketing. From this apps have been developed to make content creation for social media campaigns even easier and people are able to run them even with just their phones.

The task:

The aim for this task is to create a social media campaign for a cultural event of significance.

For this task to demonstrate how simple social media content creation has become through use of the tools available, I will be using Canva to create my campaign.

The event I will be campaigning for it national tea day. My target market will be tea drinkers, which makes up 75% of the UK (Medlin S., 2019). Tea is also known to have a calming effect and is often used as a calming method for people in distress or with mental health problems.

How to use the templates:

Once in the Canva workspace, you can access a range of different templates all editable for a social media campaign.
