When first accessing the app, the user is presented with five onboarding screens. They go through basic navigation for the application and on the last screen there is a 1.5 second transition where they are presented with a continue button to proceed to the app. By presenting the user with basic instructions for the app without it being exhaustive, it ensures the user has basic understanding of navigation without it being too complicated. For the app, the graphic standards manual has been upheld and only typography, colour and composition that the manual allows has been used in the design.

The user is then presented with four options to navigate to on the menu; line-up, map, food, and help. If the user navigates to line-up, they are presented with timetables, one for Saturday and one for Sunday. They are then able to scroll through each of the timetables and clearly see what acts are on, and when. By adding the option to scroll through the timetable with ease, this adds interactivity for the user and still keeps it simple, ensuring that it is both accessible and keeps their focus.

They then have the option to view the map for the event. This was made using Google Maps to get a basic shape of the area for the event, and then adding what will go where at the festival. The map on the app allows you to zoom in to see specific areas in more detail and also allows you to drag the map to move the view around the site. The map shows the following areas; main stage, medical, toilets, collection point, food, and quiet area. By showing where the user is able to get away from the noise and crowds, this ensures it is accessible to those with disabilities that may cause sensory problems. Once they have zoomed into the map, they then have the option of a back button to zoom back out again.

The third menu item is food. Through this part of the app, users are able to order food and drinks to the collection point situated near to the main stage, ensuring they don’t miss a second of the show. They are given the option for drinks, street food and the Greek. From there they are given options for each of the vendors, and once they have made their choice, they are then taken to the payment screens. They are given the total due and then they enter their personal and card details, and then they are taken to a timed screen which simulates the payment being processed. From there they are told their order will be ready at the collection point in 15 minutes.

The final menu item is the help button. This allows users to select their location in the app and receive medical assistance wherever they are at the festival. By doing this it becomes more accessible for festival goers, should they be injured and not able to attend the medical area without assistance.
